The children from the High Street playgroup held a welly wang to buy equipment for a health centre, and handed a cheque over the same day. Playgroup supervisor, Mrs Christine Maxwell said: “We were sure of raising enough money, so we got a cheque ready to hand over.” The group presented 100 to the Nuffield Health Centre to buy a nebuliser, a machine which helps asthmatic children.
